Peak power measured at the LED surface

Headline irradiance figures are often taken touching the diodes, where no one actually sits. Ask for the number at a realistic distance like 15 cm.

“More wavelengths” with no biology behind them

A long list of bands chosen for the spec sheet isn’t the same as a coordinated spectrum chosen for how cells respond. Quality of selection beats quantity.

Total wattage instead of dose
