Accessibility Statement

We want redlight.doctor to be usable by the widest possible range of people. Our target is conformance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA and the European standard EN 301 549, in line with the European Accessibility Act, in force since 28 June 2025.

• A skip link to the main content and a semantic <main> landmark on every page.
• Dialogs — cart, menu, film — with focus trapping, focus restoration on close, and Esc to dismiss.
• Respect for the reduced-motion preference: looping video pauses when you have asked your system for less motion.
• Live-region announcements for cart and form feedback, so changes are spoken rather than only shown.
• Full keyboard operability with visible focus indicators.

We have not yet completed a formal third-party conformance assessment, so this statement describes our own testing rather than an audited result. Embedded third-party content — the checkout and payment interfaces in particular — is outside our direct control and may not fully conform.

We would rather say this plainly than claim a conformance level we have not had verified.
